After recording many new cases of the coronavirus within Victoria and New South Wales this week, Australia has reached over the 8000 positive case threshold.
While the numbers have been steadily increasing for some time now, this new milestone has created even more fear of that second wave approaching.
Victorians hotspots have gone back into lockdown this week, as those door-to-door tests have begun rolling out all over those suburbs.
Authorities have said that people in these 10 worst-affected postal codes would be confined to their homes, except for essential travel, for the next four weeks in an effort to stop the virus’s spread.
With that, any attempt to leave the lockdown could result in an $11,000 fine and 6 months in jail. More on that as it develops.
In other news, Australia Unlimited has released the nation’s new logo, worth $10 million dollar.
However, immediate reactions have deemed that this costly image bears a unique comparison to that of the coronavirus.
Whether or not the public will be on board with this decision, it is certain that this new logo will most definitely, “stand out.
